temper tantrums
Wow, mother and cranky 2yrs old thrown off a boarded southwest flight because kid wouldn't stop crying(http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33555007/?gt1=43001). I'm a little perplexed. I don't know all of the specifics, but I have a 2yrs old and they can be pretty unreasonable sometimes (hint: they're 2) but this is kinda extreme. Once again, we as a society fail at tolerance...not surprised. Young children sometimes react not the way we'd like them to, it's no ones fault. A crying child doesn't make you a bad parent nor does it make the child a monster. Everyone was 2 at one point in their lives, trust me you weren't walking around with a halo on top of your head. If small children bother you, get over it and quick because the little crumb snatchers are everywhere and I do mean everywhere. But parents please, know your children's behavior and plan, plan, plan and then have a backup plan for the backup plan whenever there is a chance your kids tantrum could spoil things for others... we live in an unforgiving society and you might end up stuck at an airport with your distempered toddler, and no you can't blame the airline it's just one of those things you chalk-up to "D* this isn't my day" and move on. Treat this as a future wedding day speech: "I remember the time when you were 2 and we were kicked off of a flight...) Everyone has parenting styles that are different so whether you chose to let your child act out then settle down, or beat the crap out of'em to alleviate the situation, the situation is going to occur so let's everyone wooh sah!
